Pros
Social Kapture has a fun, upbeat, and exciting company culture that is an absolute pleasure to be around. I love the flexibility of the hybrid work schedule. The upper management for the digital ads department was great to work under, always made my input feel valuable, never micro-managed me, and gave me the creative freedom to experiment in accounts as I saw fit. Annette and the rest of my co-workers were awesome to be around. The atmosphere was generally pleasant, and I never once felt any signs of office politics or drama. If you value company culture, inclusion, and atmosphere heavily, then I think you'd love Social Kapture.
Cons
Speaking for the paid ads department, the actual work itself gets repetitive FAST, especially considering there are so many client accounts that all generally require the same, cookie-cutter approach with templated ads and copy from the ad copy team. Low ad budgets combined with the limitations of Fair Housing and conversion tracking meant reporting on performance metrics like CPC and CTR and it was honestly hard to feel like I was having an impact on clients. Also, if your goal is to eventually move into some B2B/DTC performance marketing role, you may want to look elsewhere. You won't really be picking up on any skills that will translate to that type of role considering the limitations of Fair Housing and the vast differences in running ads for multi-family vs something like DTC eComm. This role really shines for someone with 0-1 year of experience with paid ads, looking for an entry-level position. If you've got more than that and you come from a performance marketing role, I'd skip this role.

Pros
SK has really good benefits (401K, good salary especially for young people, health insurance, flex PTO, etc), and the hours are very consistent. This is not the type of job where you work late hours, you will always clock off at your set end time. Although very repetitive, the work is not hard at all. They require the designers to have a degree but honestly anyone could do this job. If you are looking for a good paying , stable job, and you don't necessarily care about the actual work you are doing (basically just want to collect a check and go home) this is a very good choice for that.
Cons
The work is the same every day, it never changes. Especially for designers, this can get very old very quickly, and management does not like when you express interest in pursuing other responsibilities outside of your expected work. Be sure to triple check with management what is expected of you, because there was a lot of inconsistencies with communication. The designer job in particular is less of a design role and more of a "how well can you use Photoshop" type of job. You will use pre-made templates every day, and rarely get the chance to create work from scratch. Also, there is no art or creative director who manages the design team, so if you are looking for creative direction you will not find that here. The other designers will give you feedback at times but on a daily basis you are on your own. It is not the most fulfilling role creatively, so if you are looking for a job where you can grow as a creative, it will be hard to do so here.
