      Pros

      Absolute top tier work environment. Work/life balance isn't just a thing, but heavily encouraged. Quality work gets acknowledged. One of the few places I've ever been where it feels like management is working alongside you, as opposed to talking down to you.

      Cons

      This gets harder to define. Really, because it's a small company, there is a ceiling on career advancement, but that's expected with any small business. And there are plenty of trade-offs that make it worth it.

      Pros

      Starting at the top, the CEO is top notch both as an innovator of software, but even more importantly, as someone who cares about and for his employees. The company produces software that enhances the Cerner EHR operating system used by hospitals. The people who work here work well together. I have worked for companies where there was internal competition and strife, but it does not exist here. (see note in Cons)

      Cons

      The building is dated, but functional. There was a split several years ago. Before that, there was much discord and a lack of cohesion between the two sides. There have been managers who were difficult to work for who are no longer here, either as part of the split or through attrition. It is now a much happier place and a productive place.
