Their is no respect for teachers in the university. Sohar University is an example of workplace harassment. Teachers are treated as slave. Students don't study. The university can terminate your contract anytime if they receive complain from the students. Students have habbit to complain if the teacher gives them quizzes, assignments or less marks. The dean and university will not listen you. They only believe that students are right because they are paying the university. Threaten environment. The dean and upper management will requlary inform you that they can terminate your contract at any time. Their are lot of cases when the teachers left the university within first 3 months of their job. University will ask the teachers to present their exam, assignments, quizzes in front of all other teachers. Other teachers will make joke on your questions. The deans will modify your exam based on their stupid remarks.
