I got conned into quiting my full time job to come work with the promise of higher pay, 9-5, & going perm in 3 months. I was let go after 2 weeks. it was only 35 hrs a week. i did two stints with them and have been unemployed for the past 5 weeks STILL WAITING on my last Paycheck !!!!

Told me the company I was interviewing for had an internal candidate that they were going to give the position to unless I took a ridiculously low pay rate. I took the pay cut, then once working at the new company I find out that there was no internal candidate that was rivaling me for this position. Solomon page made up another candidate in order to leverage me into a low pay cut and told me it would only be for “2 months” until I went permanent. Meanwhile my managers were under the impression I was to stay temp for 6 months and had no idea about this agreement of low pay from the agency. My managers then worked to get me off temp sooner but Solomon page dragged their feet and it ended up taking 6 weeks. Not only that but no one from the agency bothered to reach out to me the entire time I was a temporary employee of theirs. Not even on my first day. The only time they contacted me was when they had an opening for another position and wanted me to do their job finding a friend who would be a good fit. Not only will I NEVER recommend this agency to anyone but I’m advising my company to not use them anymore as well.
