1. No employee perks or benefits of any kind.
2. The so-called “Diwali bonus” is misleading — ₹500 is deducted from our salary every month and returned during Diwali as a ₹6000 bonus. It’s not a bonus; it’s our own money.
3. Extremely poor management and decision-making — even minor purchases like a fridge take months to approve. Basic maintenance like AC servicing is ignored. The workplace is unhygienic, with rats roaming around and droppings often found on desks.
4. Sudden and unexplained changes in responsibilities — team members are removed from live projects without notice, and tasks are arbitrarily reassigned.
5. Developers are made to do unrelated tasks like video editing.
6. Java developers are forced to switch to Python under the guise of “future readiness,” but in reality, it seems to be a cost-cutting tactic due to budget constraints.
7. HR is completely ineffective — lacks accountability, ownership, and decision-making ability. She acts solely as a puppet of upper management, never advocating for employees. Most interactions are limited to generic “OK” responses, with no real support or resolution.
8. I plan to switch jobs at the earliest opportunity.
