Pros

The company focuses on innovative and meaningful work.

Cons

At the beginning, things feel exciting because of the type of work being done. But then you start noticing how often direction shifts. You'll get into a flow, then something changes... and you're thinking, wait... are we still aligned here or not? Which, again, leads to adjusting things that were already moving forward. It doesn't seem like a big deal at first, but when it keeps happening, it becomes a pattern. And that pattern starts breaking your focus every time. After a while, it just feels like constant recalibration instead of real progress. That's where it gets frustrating.

Pros

The opportunities for research help me grow and learn a lot.

Cons

I don't recommend working for Solugen if you want to grow your career. Role creep is very real here. Research scientists like me are subjected to extreme pressure because we're given tons of unrelated responsibilities and tasks to do. The leadership here doesn't care at all about the growth and advancement of its employees.

Pros

The hours were long but I learned a lot. I met a lot of very friendly and talented people.

Cons

This wasn't what I signed up for. The company completely pivoted to work on something I didn't want to be involved in.
