Pros

Great Work-Life Balance. The development team is offered a flexible work from home policy which is an amazing perk. The CTO is heavily involved with operations and all upper management has a very approachable demeanor. There are weekly Monday breakfasts which is a nice perk. There are many projects being worked on so you won't always be stuck working on legacy code. Up to date technology stack. The senior developers are very knowledgable and very willing to help out new employees. Onboarding process is very comprehensive and the CEO will personally meet with you to give you a history of the company. Although the work environment is lax(compared to other places I've worked), there is also a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and push out quality code. We have a well-rounded product team that consists of frontend/backend devs, UI/UX designers, and a solid QA team. Last but not least, you have creative freedom on the development team. If you think there could be a process change or a different approach to solve problems, the team is open to discussion and willing to pivot for the betterment of the team.

Cons

The core application is large and complex, it takes some time to learn the codebase The seating arrangement could be better The interview process was a bit difficult (for me). You are expected to hit the ground running
