-Still developing systems, which leads to uncertainty at times. Leaders are very motivated to support during the process and create systems that allow for team success.

Pros

- Songbird invests in really great people-- from office admin to in-home therapists. I was constantly impressed and inspired by my co-workers. - Great mission and values. It was motivating to see and hear about the progress that our clients were making week to week. There is a huge focus on creating the best experience for families and therapists. - Your supervisors will invest a ton in your growth and learning.

Cons

- Working remotely can make it difficult to establish strong culture with coworkers, but management was constantly working to create opportunities for connection.

Pros

While working at Songbird, I never forgot my "why" for doing a job. Every family that I helped touched me in an unforgettable way. This role pushed me to grow and to constantly challenge myself. The pros: - Mission Driven. The company really lives up to its value of always putting families and children first. I saw this in our day-to-day work. - Great ownership. You get to play a big part in building a function in a company that's bringing life-changing care to many families. Here, you're able to contend with what you're truly capable of. - Compassionate company culture. As a team, people support and care deeply about each other. I had a blast getting to know my teammates. - Access to leadership. Founders are personally invested in the people they work with and ready to help you grow. You can always get 1-on-1 time, message them questions, and give feedback.

Cons

The cons: - The company is scaling quickly, and there are some growing pains. Sometimes, there will be longer hours. - Things aren't always defined like it is at big companies. You have to be comfortable experimenting and learning through ambiguity.
