      Complete disaster

      Pros

      The (false) promise of working on the cutting edge technology.

      Cons

      Where to begin? The “product” is basically all smoke and mirrors and miles off being anything of value. Rather than actually improving the technology and the experience to be relevant, they are wasting precious resources in making ineffectual cosmetic updates and nonsensical features no one asked for. The leadership group is inept and amateurish at best. The group is comprised of those who fight for their own personal agenda and those who are yes-men to the CEO. Either way, they’re not moving the company forward. Speaking of the CEO, he is an egomaniac whose lavish spending coupled with a lack of vision has set the company back, which has led to multiple layoffs. As other reviews indicate, he lacks the requisite humility and judgment to even claim a shred of responsibility.

      On Shaky Ground

      Pros

      Great co-workers. Remote work environment.

      Cons

      No go to market strategy and a difficult to sell product. The CEO is inept, frequently tripping over his ego. He’s also disingenuous. There are many highly paid executives for the size of the company. Numerous layoffs and dwindling cash.

      Great people, great life-work balance but lack of vision and executive accountability

      Pros

      The teams are supportive and full of experienced industry veterans. They care very much for mental health and understand its importance when taking a leave of absence. The work-life balance is amazing. Layoffs did happen, and the company did an outstanding job with continuing transitioning support services.

      Cons

      As a start-up, it lacked proper vison or direction on tasks. If often felt like you were spinning your wheels just to do something that may or may-not be needed. There was a normalized culture of disorganization and it was kind of meant to be accepted, instead of outright fixing it. They did have a few intense lay-off's and it was disappointing for the CEO to claim zero responsibility. Essentially blaming "the industry", "the market", "things beyond my control". All of which is true BUT also a shred of responsibility, at minimum, falls on the executives. He showed zero accountability and didn't even apologize. All that speaks in volumes about the leadership at the executive level. Feeling secure was incredibility difficult here.

      Thanks for the feedback. 2022 was a hard year for many in the tech industry but lots of this feedback, lots of tough situations to navigate. Like you say we aren't perfect but glad you see the positives too
