Pros

Your coworkers are pretty friendly, considering you're all in the same crappy situation together

Cons

Union, disconnected leadership, high burnout, dangerous work, low budgets, no performance-based raises, high turnover, you're always carrying multiple roles... Leadership does not have your back

Pros

Staff training and autonomy: staff are focused on serving their clients with a very high level of emotional Intelligence. Most proud of the culture that contributed to the agency achieving a top Connecticut workplace 4 years and counting.

Cons

Sometimes, hard decisions must be made, even after working endlessly to help an employee grow. Compensation and the ability to provide salary increases is based on how the state of CT funds nonprofits.

Pros

I am proud to work for this agency who truly lives up to their Core Values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence! There is ONE TEAM at SCSI, and we all work together toward the same mission of providing premier Behavioral Health services to our clients! Every single decision is client centered and we are always looking to continue to meet the needs of our ever changing community. I have worked here for six years and have been promoted two times. This agency believes in professional development and training to get staff ready for the next level. We are all a part of the change, no matter what position an employee is in. I am honored and grateful to work here and be a part of all the amazing things we are doing!

Cons

There are no cons. Everyone has a voice at this agency and there is an open door policy right up to the CEO.
