Pros

A few nice people who deserve more but whatever circumstance they are in has put them in this bind.

Cons

If you are interviewing or considering taking an offer. You may want to read below and rethink. Many. So many red flags. Upper management lack leadership qualifications. The place preys on young innocent junior experience. "Talent" demographic consists of ex military or retired law enforcement officers looking for a "high paying" desk job but again, do not have the pedigree to run a team or operations. These guys operate very much like the military- barking out orders and everyone below has to fall in line. All of it is toxic. Toxic management perpetuating toxic culture. The list goes on and on. The place sucks and wreaks of a "bad smell".

Pros

The mission: working to reduce gun violence is very important and this technology can help The technology is truly amazing Free food and drinks Handful of nice and hard working colleagues Public company and can purchase stocks through employee plan

Cons

Pay significantly under Valley standards No matching 401k No mobility in the company, upward or lateral No work/life balance. Expectations to be available at all times for customers, installers and management. Meetings upon meetings to work on strategy then nothing is implemented. Meetings are a huge waste of time without action items, assigned work or any type of productivity. Meetings for the sake of having meetings is absolutely unacceptable and adding to an already large workload. The remote employees have it worse with failing communication tools.

Pros

The company mission is great, management listening to concerns and complaints is not.

Cons

What a concept. Tip of the spear, but treated like the bottom of the barrel. We are told we are appreciated, but no raise in 5 years. Asked about raises for 5 years without telling us a yes or no. Keeping us in the dark. Sweeping a covid-19 positive case under the rug and telling employees there was no covid-19 outbreak. We were told while addressing the harassment/bullying and toxic work environment from management by the CEO "we cant have the monkeys running the asylum." All we do is click buttons. We know where you stand. But now, I stand against. We matter, we are what makes the company run efficiently and effectively and the main point of contact to customers. Without us the accuracy ratings will fall due to years of fine tuning our skill sets to accurate review. They refuse to acknowledge our concerns and questions when addressed in meetings, and try to keep it behind closed doors. But NOT anymore. You can't bully us, anymore. We matter and we deserve to be treated like humans versus being talked down too. Not anymore. I love the mission and our purpose and bringing safety within our communities. But we don't deserve to be treated badly. Like we are less then. We have a voice, and I plan to use it. #wedeservebetterthanthis #notanymore #bullying #workthatmatters #doingworkthatmatters
