Enjoyed working with coworkers a lot, they created a good environment and provided good care to the residents.
Cons
Soundcare would not pay to update/upgrade anything, very very cheap company.
When the building closed, staff were promised severance pay to get them through looking for a new job. I got $150 and 48hrs notice of my last day.
I got hurt (non-job related) and they were very supportive of everything. They gave me time off to heal and that was more than I could ask for. The pay is pretty good depending on experience. You can voice your opinions and they will at least listen even if they don't do anything about it. They treat you as if your position is no less than theirs. Team work is great throughout most of the building.
Cons
Some of the LPN's who have had a golden spoon in their mouth their entire life and never had to work from the bottom up, act as if they are too good to touch anything dirty or help out a little.
