      Pros

      Direct staff easy to work with.

      Cons

      New CEO has made changes not beneficial to employees. Earned, accrued vacation is no longer paid out upon departure, no matter the reason. Retirements are being delayed while employees clock their earned vacation days during their last month, instead of simply cashing in. Benefits are billed to their state program, so there is no SEMHA funds being lost, unless they just want to punish their in-house staff, which is even more shameful.

      Pros

      Solid job for someone with a background in nutrition with or without RD credential. Training is good and management at Wayne county is very accommodating and warm. Diverse team of staff.

      Cons

      Work is monotonous, most days feel the same. Staff are often overworked for little pay, without much room for growth due to the work being government funded.
