The DON has no respect for the nursing staff. She never ever leaves her office and just sends condescending and rude emails to staff about all the things they are doing wrong. The ADONs are no better since they don’t advocate for the staff or try to improve the working environment and care being provided. Most of the staff leaves due to the incompetence of the DON and they are replaced by agency staff. If concerns regarding care are being mentioned than you are the problem and nursing management will retaliate against you.
