      Helping students to succeed in life

      Cons

      Two faced management, self absorbed " leaders "The management is so horrible they ran all the good people away and bring in new people thinking they will do a better job and then they leave too. It's a toxic environment. Feels like your surrounded by demons. They all smile in your face but talk about u behind your back. Worst place I've ever worked. Not to mention it's mostly women there so the caddiness and estrogen is at an all time high.

      Pros

      four day work week. off on fridays as a general rule for education dept.

      Cons

      long hours, aggressive managers and excessive meetings. Pay compensation is not good for the collateral duties expected. Avoid Librarian job. Must travel between two campus, manage two campus LRC's in Orlando and Mt Dora. No compensation for gas expense. Librarian has to do other duties not related to job. Manage uniforms, book store, and other secretarial type duties.

      The pros are you get to meet great people and help them achieve goals.

      Terrible benefits Leadership beats you up consistently People are so afraid of losing their job they are willing to do anything for students. Success is whispered and failure is screamed Always scrutinized nothing is ever right and no one is ever satisfied. Degrading practices to drive results Things beyond your control are held against you. They want results even if it's not reasonable. Benefits are too expensive because the company doesn't want to supplement the employee. You don't have vacation time for 12 months. You can't have a paid day.
