Extremely dysfunctional company.

Pros

If you can find time to get certifications while you are there, the opportunities are available. There was a short time when most of the workers got along.

Cons

Extremely dysfunctional workplace with 95% of the dysfunction coming from the top 3 positions in the company. Everything was terrible from the culture, to the pay, to the lies you had to accept to not hurt the manager's feelings. Very high school-ish workplace.

Pros

I learned what kind of company "not" to work for before I left

Cons

Where do you start. The IT help desk is combative with your managed service clients so they try to get out of their service contact within 60 days. Everyone jumps ship or gets fired. The lights turn off on you if you are in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes. All the other IT companies laugh at you when you tell them you work for Sovran. HR is unapproachable and does not have your back. The nicest people get fired. All good techs get better paying jobs. They brainwash all their sales people with some weird weekly seminar. You cannot afford to cover your family with the health insurance offered. You will have to get separate insurance.

Pros

Technicians are dedicated and want to please. They want to give their all for the customers.

Cons

Crazy sales team. Crazier owner that micro manages. Pushes processes that led the company from 18 million a year to 4 million a year. Don't question the owner even when she is wrong... Which is often. Glad I don't work there any longer. I feel sorry for the new Service Manager. He is the best but is belittled by the owner daily.
