This job can be very rewarding. They are serious about continuing education. Many educators will come to the spa throughout the year to teach and enlighten the employees. Many different treatments to offer and learn. There are a variety of top named products that you can work with and retail inluding; Eminence, Spa Technologies, EmerginC, Skin Ceuticals, La Bella Donna Minerals, and many more. Amenities include; infrared saunas, eucalyptus infused steam rooms, coed salt whirlpool, cafe, salon, and indoor/outdoor pool. The pay is fairly good and they can be flexible with your schedule. The staff is very close and work well together.
Cons
Spa Shiki is located at Lake of the Ozarks. This is a seasonal destination and you will feel the impact in your wallet. If you are wise you take advantage of the pay in the on season and set back savings to be prepared for the off season. This is nothing personal or has anything to do with the spa itself, it is location. Off season is the time for education. Spa Shiki is also located at The Lodge of Four Seasons. Being apart of a resort has a huge impact on the spa. Conventions come and go at the resort, so do many bad reviews and complaints. Take this however you may see it. It can be good and it can be bad.
