      Cons

      Narcissistic CEO, micromanaged and talked to like you’re 2 years old, poor internal communication, constant change, would get in trouble if you worked overtime, did everything to not pay you more even if you went to conferences for them, talked down to younger women employees, unhappy employees unless you were one of his friends he hired, HR was a close family friend of the boss, if the boss didn’t like you you were targeted and could not get a raise or a promotion no matter what, underpaid, the list goes on and on. They will try to sell you all these great perks of working there but in the end nothing is worth the way you’re treated and lack of pay compared to similar positions in the industry.

      Cons

      With any evolving healthcare industry company and team, processes need to be improved and updated to stay in line with best practices. Spakinect values compliance and safety, so as a result, the team needs to learn about new technologies and policies on a routine basis.

      A growing company with a great culture

      Pros

      Spakinect stands out among other employers I've worked for when it comes to employee engagement. The culture is warm, welcoming, and genuine. Everyone shows up ready to give 110% to our patients, our clients, and their team members. "Explore" is a component of our mission, vision and values, and I see it in action every day. Our clinical, operations, and sales teams are all focused on improving their expertise by learning from each other, from experts in the field, and experimenting with new technology. At the same time, this is a team of professionals that has high expectations for each other. Continuous improvement is a core part of the culture and I believe a key reason why Spakinect is the leader in its space.

      Cons

      There are pros and cons to a fully remote environment. In my phase of life, remote works for me, but there are moments when I wish we could just get in a room to white board out some ideas.
