When you are a newbie, they want you to sit quietly, overwork and consider themselves as always right. Any suggestions or attempts to share your past experiences in technology are perceived as critics. They discuss you behind your back, don’t provide an honest feedback and nitpick everything about you. What is allowed for others, is not an option for you. Some team members are toxic in communication, some are smiling at you but in reality they have some unreasonable gripes with you that they never tell you directly but complain to others. Sexist “jokes” and swear words are also ok for them during meetings.

You can grow fast if you are well-connected. Processes like task management are built smartly. They have snacks in the office, fully equipped conference rooms, and provide different fitness opportunities.

Cons

Nepotism flourishes in the company, people without the required soft skills and previous experience are put in high, people-managing positions. The company did huge layoffs without any prior communication, it was unexpected for the employees because there were no preconditions. The stated reasons provided by the management were clearly fake, no one really knew what happened and this lack of transparency speaks a lot about the company. And right after the mass layoffs, the company plans to take all employees to Dubai for a meet-up. Imagine the expenses behind this, a feast during the plague. People are the "main resource", but when it comes to cutting costs, it is people who get fired first.
