Amateurish and unprofessional upper management. They were ill-suited for running an organization larger than 10 people. Screaming at employees, indecisiveness, and bizarre levels of micromanagement. Many people were frustrated and on the verge of quitting when the bankruptcy happened.
The concept was pretty out there and it probably would've eventually required a pivot, but it never had a chance with how mismanaged this company was.
Salary was very mediocre, but to be fair the equity grants were pretty generous (not that it matters now).
