Pros
Opportunities to learn a lot quickly on the job. The people are wonderful, and the culture is welcoming. Variety of aerospace projects both in Technical Readiness Levels (TRLs) and industry subsets, like: orbital applications, modeling and simulation, white paper collaboration studies, atmospheric re-entry applications, and more. There was an awesome flex-time policy when I worked there. So if you work over you can use the overage hours within the same month as time off. Mandatory in-office core hours were 10am-3:30pm. So you could arrive at 10am or leave as early as 3:30pm no questions asked.
Cons
Not a lot of real mentorship available combined with a lot of responsibility granted quickly can be challenging to a newer engineer. Leads to a lot of burnout and rapid turnover. PTO ramps up with seniority and is accrued over time. At entry-level you’ll start out at about 9.33 hours per month plus 10 federal holidays. With a pretty quick route to a heavy work load and pretty limited PTO compared to other tech companies, it can be a struggle. When I worked there, there were no regular work from home days. Everyday is an in-office day by default with remote work only be granted on an as needed basis by your team lead.

Small company means less management BS. Team lead is good to work for, engaged and does enough technical work to stay in the loop. Everyone is friendly. Lots of projects to work on,
Cons
Often dependent on outside contracts to fund work everyone wants to do.
