Management, from the C-levels on down, is dysfunctional. Large clients are sold products conceived on a whim to be delivered in impossible timeframe, employees across various departments play a game of musical chairs to determine whos responsible when conceptual vaporware product is not delivered in timely manner.
There is no consultation in this process from anyone who would be able to determine feasibility of product. Failures are generally blamed on midlevel management, who are then augmented by a second-tier midlevel management or a new director of some menial task. Compensation is dependent upon bonus that often fails to materialize.
