Pros

Nothing really stands out as pros

Cons

Worst place to work, the CEO makes people work long hours and late nights and expects people to come back the next day on time. No proper human resources to address the issues of employees. Not enough holidays and one's not allowed to take leave even due to emergency reasons, and if you do you lose pay. If one takes leave on friday, they lose pay for 3 days. Labour laws are obsolete here, Prem the CEO always says "This is a startup ma" if you ask him about the horrid rules. And don't expect any kind of social security provisions, not even maternity leave. And if you want to quit, you can't unless you pay Rs. 50,000 or your certificates will be held ransom. Please avoid this place if you are planning to join.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that you didn’t enjoy working in Spiceblue. Being known for our great service it came as a surprise. We believe, a healthy workforce is one that is able to successfully manage the demands of both work and life. So we encourage our employees to maintain a work-life balance to live a healthier lifestyle by working only for the required hours. Also, we do have paid holidays and there is no LOP for availing leave on Friday. There seems to be a misunderstanding or assumption in your queries. We are intent on making this right and hope you will allow us to speak with you to discuss the situation, please contact us by emailing hr@spiceblue.com. Regards, Human Resource, www.spiceblue.com

Pros

Alternative Saturday off & every Sunday. Unfortunately these are the only pros i couldn't think of.

Cons

Now Cons are of tons to say. But let me keep it short. Consider going through these points before you blow your career by joining this company ( Slave room ) 1) Unethical work place 2) No PF or benifit what so ever 3) Give respect take respect is no more here 😂 it's " ONLY GIVE RESPECT AND TAKE CR*P " ( sorry abt the language but couldn't express it any better ) 4) Expect extra working hours 5) Expect unprofessional so called FOUNDERS. 6) Expect Salary shortage 7) People who expect you to call them as " Sir " 🤦 ( even if you are not comfortable ) 8) Horrible service providers , All time design. They SCAM their customers. 9) The CEO always wants you to turn on the cam for every meeting with him even if you don't want to. 10) expect unnecessary meetings after shift hours 11) FUN FACT - You will be monitored through a app that takes screenshots of your screen every 10 mins. 12) expect a school culture 13) No work from home even if you are about to Die ( Unfortunately yes that's true ) 14) LOPs are common here 15) DONT REGRET AFTER JOINING, CHOOSE WISELY
