Pros

*Most* of the people at the company are very nice and pleasant to work with, flexible hours, and there was a lot of trust built up between management and myself.

Cons

Alright, strap in folks. Where do I even start? I have no idea why there are so many positive reviews here but this is hands down the most poorly run company I have ever worked for. No one at the top communicates with each other at all and then said lack of communication gets taken out on those of us at the bottom. To make matters worse, the people at the top just straight up refuse to even speak to us most of the time. For a startup they're weirdly resistant to change. I cannot even count the number of times I proposed a new project or even asked for more work (for no extra compensation) and was then shot down because the higher-ups can't see past their own noses and apparently have no foresight about what's going on in the media industry. Needless to say, if you're looking for somewhere to grow your career, please, for the love of god look elsewhere. And now we get into the reason I even decided to write this review: I received a job offer from another company and as you typically do out of courtesy, I gave my two-week notice. Only, they refused to accept my notice and claimed that company policy dictates that anyone leaving must be terminated immediately because of *checks notes*....... "security reasons." (Read: they retaliated and so I was essentially fired for no reason.) When I confronted HR about this and asked why they had not made anyone at the company aware of such a policy, they talked to me like I was stupid for supposedly not having read the handbooks correctly. In reality, I read through all of the paperwork and nowhere did it say anything about this... because they literally just made it up and intentionally kept it discrete so that they would not have to pay people out for their two weeks. So in a nutshell, I got fired for giving a standard two-week notice and now I'm down an entire paycheck (while also being ineligible for unemployment, thanks for that!) because HR decided that saving the company a few bucks was more important than treating employees with the *tiniest* crumb of decency that is standard literally EVERYWHERE ELSE. So congratulations HR, you saved a few bucks and got even more! You also completely unnecessarily burned a bridge with a former employee AND got this disgraceful Glassdoor review!

Pros

Job is easy and relaxed. You can work at your own schedule. Supervisors are very helpful and kind.

Cons

If you want a job that challenges your skills, this is not for you, tasks here are so repetitive eventually you'll get bored. Also the salary is always delayed.
