Pros

Leadership does such a great job cultivating a positive culture among the teams. I can't remember a time, if ever where I have felt like everyone is working toward the same goal of just doing incredible work and helping each other along the way. Everyone is just so inspiring to be around, kind, and all around fun. Many of us work virtually, but we are all still very connected to each other. This company spends a lot of time taking the feedback we give and provides us with the tools we need to get things done and stay connected to our team. This is also the first environment that I've worked in where there is no vacation policy. This doesn't mean there's no time off, it's actually the opposite in that I get to just take time off when I need it. Seems too good to be true, but it's not.

Cons

As some have previously stated the pace can be extremely fast at times, but we always have the resources we need to get things done. Really hard to knock a company for having too much business, especially when the infrastructure exists to support it.

From Intern To Full-Time

Pros

I wanted to give myself a little time before writing this review and I'm glad that I did. The hard work really did pay off and this company's team and mission are off the charts in a good way. I applied and was brought on as an intern just to get some on the ground experience so that I could hopefully get a job somewhere else. Well, I'm so glad that I didn't have an opportunity to leave because after a few months of some pretty intense projects, I was asked to stay on as an employee. This is a fast paced, but very supportive work environment. If you want to learn, you will. The work schedule can be flexible and most of us telecommute because of the remote infrastructure in place, which is top notch and easy to keep in touch. I get some of my work done in the morning, then I'm able to take off for a few hours in the middle of the day, then I get back to work later in the day. Work life balance is possible here, but as the CEO says, "you've got to have some hustle to get it all done." He's so right, and I don't think you'll find a CEO who is shoulder-to-shoulder with his team doing the very same things we all are.

Cons

If you're looking to coast then this isn't the job for you. The work life balance doesn't mean it's easy as the pace can be pretty quick at times, but I do have to reiterate that no one is alone. This is a team effort. We're all working hard and no one feels undervalued. I know this isn't a real con, but folks should know that everyone is hustling here and if you feel intimidated by that, then it may not be the place for you.

A great working environment

Pros

I feel fortunate to work with the team of professionals that I do. The level of skill and expertise everyone has, AND their openness to share this knowledge makes for the most collaborative work environment I've ever been a part of. The leadership team is very approachable and encourages us to bring ideas to the table if we feel a process could be improved.

Cons

Not necessarily a con, but this isn't what you'd call a 9-5 job. We are of course able to work remotely and even though the work day could be 10-12+ hours each day, which isn't always the case, and it can usually be broken up to allow for extended breaks to go to a kid's sport's game or school event. I've rarely felt overwhelmed, but if I did there are other team members available to assist with immediate concerns. A high level of self discipline is also needed, especially when working remotely.
