The company I worked for "merged" with Spire last year. Ever since, Spire has been disassembling the once prominent and respected practed OrthoRI once was. Once Spire took over we were lied to and strung along until 16 people were unceremoniously laid off in one day. Some people had worked for the company for 2 decades. This after months of picking up the HUGE mess Spire's team of under trained billers made. They are not knowledgeable in the very basics of billing. Every town hall meeting after the merged we asked if there would be lay offs. We were told no everytime, including the meeting 1 week prior to lay offs. Come to find out it was in the original contract they signed with Spire that there would be lay offs & more are to come. No one is safe. It's sad that inevitably the patients will suffer. They treat every employee like a number. A chess piece in their master plan. They will use you until you are a redundancy to them. They are loosing ORI tons of money, messing up the patient's billing and blowing smoke up managements back side.

There were no cons. I truly enjoyed my time at Spire Orthopedic Partners.
