Pros

The pros of teaching in SPS are the students. There are a lot of severe behavior issues, but there is also many engaged, respectful, interested students.

Cons

Leadership/principals there is very little support or follow through. Teachers are expected to deal with the severe classroom behavior, at the expense of the other students in the classroom. There is support staff, but they are usually occupied. There is no follow up or follow through, even for major incidents.
