All of the negative reviews about Springwise are true. I didn't want to believe it when I started but sadly, I found out that the reviews weren't just opinions from jaded employees. They were actually right on the money. If you read other negative reviews, it's all pretty accurate.
The company likes to bring in temps and switch them out every few months. Over half of the company is related which always felt uncomfortable because they are always watching the outsiders. They will make you think they want to hire you "if you work out" and will tempt you with the possibility of paid health insurance but actually cycle through new temps every three months. I suspect the paid health insurance is really for the majority of family who works there.
What bothered me the most about this company is the way they treat their vendors. The Google reviews are true - sometimes, they just don't get paid for whatever reason. Regardless of the reason, it's not right. Some vendors actually laughed at me over the phone when I told them how much we could pay them because Springwise pays vendors rock bottom. While paying as little as possible, Springwise is very demanding of their vendors. I can't tell you how many times I heard the phrase, "vendors lie about...". Do they? It was difficult to ask a vendor to spend gas and time to go back and fix something small when they are paid peanuts. Sometimes, vendors don't get paid for months for work that was completed in a different season.
The company also had issues with their clients and payment and there was a LOT of conflict in the business model. Somehow they still make money but I have to wonder at whose expense does this happen? I'm very happy I don't work there anymore.
