Pros

Squirro is a great product with fabulous potential, the working environment is good, albeit you will spend a great part of your life at your desk.

Cons

CEO likes to control everything, despite in many aspects the advise is wrong, and when you take this advise and apply and it goes wrong, it will be your fault.

This review comes from a former employee that we had to let go for poor performance. While we wished him best of luck he took the cheap shot @ glassdoor route. Reflects probably more on the employee than anyone else.

Pros

Squirro's product is genuinely innovative and well-respected in the industry, with Gartner recognition validating its technical capabilities. The engineering and product teams are filled with bright, dedicated professionals who believe in the solution. When properly supported, these teams deliver exceptional work that truly helps clients.

Cons

Behind the promising technology lies an organization hampered by dysfunctional leadership. The C-suite has been plagued by too many competing voices, resulting in erratic decision-making, unsustainable spending, and damaged confidence. More troubling is the company's toxic workplace culture. There's a pattern of leadership disregarding basic HR and legal standards. Senior executives allegedly engaged in behavior that would be unacceptable at most professional organizations, creating an environment of fear and instability. The company treats its workforce as disposable rather than valued partners. There's minimal investment in employee development, and a noticeable pattern of prioritizing short-term cost-cutting over sustainable people practices.
