      Medical Technologist, Generalist - higher pay is also higher frustration, don’t let that bonus tempt you

      Pros

      Decent pay, benefits, retirement matching, cafeteria and cafe with GOOD food, coworkers who are mostly friendly and who usually have good attitudes toward work, free parking, overtime available from never being fully staffed, outside of most city traffic, for-profit hospital with money to spend

      Cons

      Ineffective training, high turnover, critical management who lacks compassion, communication, leadership and progressive vision, “on-call” for call-offs and expected to work overtime, unorganized resources, “for-profit hospital” who formed originally from community donations now over-charges that community for services

      Pros

      Friendly co-workers. Relaxed work environment. Good pay.

      Cons

      Very difficult to get a FT daylight position. Little to no room for advancement. Management isn't easy to work with. Management shows favoritism, as Im sure does everywhere. Been working FT hours and more, for 8+ yrs without being offered, and always passed up for FT positions.

      Pros

      Decent pay, location is a plus, benefits are ok, small hospital, free employee parking and paid parking isn't that bad compared to city hospitals

      Cons

      Management doesn't care about employees- only $, over worked and mandated. Understaffed and don't care. Don't care if you have a life and family life outside work. "Don't like ir- you can leave and be replaced" attitude
