Once great charity brought low by venal, incompetent management
Pros
Absolutely nothing , management here are complete "see you next Tuesday's"
Cons
Once a charity with a strong Catholic ethos, recent years have seen it brought to its lowest ebb thanks to the utterly incompetent, venal, power-grabbing C-suite, who are more concerned with wilfully taking as much money as they can, and forcibly evicting the Nuns who used to oversee proceedings. Staff on long term sick leave throughout the organisation have been made redundant, before their roles are readvertised in clear and obvious contravention of redundancy guidelines. Carers are paid the absolute bare minimum, while the COO and CEO give themselves massive salaries and divert any and all funding to their hefty, six figure pay packets, without an ounce of shame. Management do not possess relevant financial qualifications, and the only staff that did were forced out, leaving admin staff that can't tell the difference between net and gross! Senior Management has bullied out long term staff, leading to shadowy one-off payments to those that have left, and a void of experience which will lead Service Users to significant fines from HMRC. Senior management deliberately hires accountants on contract, either because the accounts are a shambles, or they are deliberately trying to hide something. Worst of all, the COO regularly shouts, bullies and harasses members of his team into doing things that are morally dubious, and then 5 minutes later berating them for doing what he's ordered. He has frequently been heard down the hallway, screaming his lungs out at staff, and creating such a toxic atmosphere that at least 6 members of a team of 8 are actively seeking alternate employment.
