Pros

Great Benefits Great training on the company and corporate policies and protocols Staff who truly care for the people they support Supportive environment

Cons

Long shifts (up to 23 hours) that lack legally mandated breaks Grossly underpaid support staff Inadequate In-House training Must transport clients using your own vehicle (adds a lot of miles and wear and tear to your car) High burnout/high turnover

Pros

Lots of days off! Paid summer and winter breaks (1 week off for each). Fun co-workers and best clients that are always interesting to work with.

Cons

Paid too little. If you don't mind driving around clients and using mileage on your car, then it should be fine. Other than low-pay and wear and tear on your car, that is it.
