A smoking crater of what used to be a liberal arts college
Pros
Small campus. Lots of empty office space.
Cons
A college that has destroyed itself. Cut over a dozen programs, fired over half of its faculty, and is now scrambling to hire underpaid adjuncts to teach in areas where they used to have outstanding, full-time faculty. Incompetent and corrupt leadership have imploded an institution that took over a century to build. This is a "Catholic liberal arts" college where you can't major in religious studies. Or history. Or theater. Or physics. Or geology. Or Spanish. The list goes on. The college now caters in peddling majors that they can't actually successfully produce career opportunities for graduates, and charges elite-college tuition prices. If you're someone who cares about higher education, or having an employer that values human dignity: steer well clear.
