      Pros

      If you live in Palmyra and want to walk to work, it may be good for you to work at Standard Process. Also, if you are interested in free vitamins made from animal parts.

      Cons

      Claims to be a family business, but the family was torn apart by greed, selfish and ineptitude. Changes lives, but not for the better. Benefits they used to offer when parents were alive are slipping away faster than an eel on a slip and slide. CEO plays favorites and can't make decisions. Sales are sliding for a reason,

      Management Needs Serious Reconsideration

      Pros

      Benefits are great, especially having childcare onsite. A location in a rural country environment is nice. Coworkers are very friendly and most help to support each other.

      Cons

      Unfortunately the middle management is lacking real management skills and appreciation for their employees which brings down employee morale. Upper management doesn't seem to notice this and doesn't offer any type of help in resolving issues. And when HR doesn't even help you then you are totally on your own. Problematic employees are protected versus corrected. Employees leaving the company are telling the company about this issue, but nothing is being done about it. For being a 'health-focused' company they have a very toxic work environment that can affect your mental and emotional health.
