Poor attitude to safety. Depots in poor condition exposing staff to daily hazards and risks. Owners reluctant to spend the money to rectify as they was only renting the premises. Long hours early starts every day (6am) to 4pm. Depot managers did not want H&S staff advising, identifying issues, reporting issues. Poor H&S culture. Managers have no idea what they are doing , only interested in getting jobs closed up regardless of whether they are done properly. Expected to let manager know if you cant work late it seems to be assumed that doing overtime is mandatory
