As a long term employee I have witnessed the company change and while some changes were good, like the new offices, many changes have happened that have made the working environment an unhealthy one.
Management is nasty, snarky and dismissive.
Most of management have no management background or experience.
HR is is effectively nonexistent.
Cliques dominate the interoffice politics. Employees have no chance of advancing unless they are in a clique.
The environment and tone set by management at all levels is generally unprofessional. More of a "Boys Club" full of a bunch of friends than any sort of modern standard.
Employees are regularly insulted, degraded and disrespected by management.
Employees are yelled at and otherwise verbally abused often.
Sexual harassment by top level management is known but allowed to run rampant and unchecked. Female employees actively avoid being alone in rooms with specific members of management.
Racist and sexist jokes are regularly made by management of all levels. This is also known and allowed to happen.
Feedback from employees is ignored, repressed and actively attacked by Management that perceive everything as an attack on themselves personally.
Inter company communication struggles immensely.
Employees rarely understand or know what direction the company is going, it's financial health, and it's future goals.
Top level communication is often in a nasty, dismissive tone that is reminiscent of a stern parent scolding children. Recently the CEO bribed employees to write a review on Glassdoor by giving away free vacation.
There are no uniform standards or methods.
Department heads are more interested in protecting their power and position than fostering interdepartmental communication.
Mid level management work together to subvert employees that they feel threaten their positions.
Management is retaliatory towards staff that complain about the working environment or management behavior.
