Pros

The support staff is great to work with.

Cons

The firm works in Teams. If there is a rush or a team is short handed, no one on another team will help. Some lawyers on other teams won't even answer a question if the attorney that is on your team is out of the office and you need help. Human Resources really does not care if people are over whelmed The firm seems to breed a culture of back stabbing among teams. They hire attorneys with a lot of law experience, but with no experience in the type of law that they are supposed to be doing. This results in a lot of wasted time for everyone involved. The firm has a no overtime policy and they discourage working more than your scheduled hours. However, there are attorneys who expect you to do just that. I was told by a managing partner to just sign out at my scheduled time and stay so that Human Resources wouldn't know about it. Several people do that. Human Resources has to know about it, but ignores it.

Pros

The Firm strives to be competitive and is definitely not apprehensive to change. There's lots of opportunities to make a positive impact within your role, your department, and the Firm. There's thought given to work/life balance, employee appreciation, and employee voice through various committees. This is a place where you can get out of it whatever you're willing to put in. If you want grow into a leader and push to be an agent of change...to leave your mark, this is the law firm for you. It's a much more community-focused law firm vs others I've worked at in the past. Overall, I really enjoy working here.

Cons

It is a very results-driven law firm (what law firm isn't?) and there is a demand for you to come into the role with very strong skills (technical, professional, social) to make the greatest impact. You really need to be willing and able to adapt to a constant state of change which at times is really challenging and sometimes frustrating until you find your new routine.

Pros

Good benefits package (including bonuses) with the exception of health insurance. Good training program.

Cons

Yardley office only - Long term employees don't follow rules and procedures and make it extremely difficult to reorganize a department that is in total disarray. Family members are on the same team who do not play as team members! Attorney Krawiitz does not draft ANY pleading or correspondence even extremely complicated ones. Krawitz expects the paralegal to do their and his job its entirety with the exception of attending depositions and trial which makes department unproductive. Completely overworked and underpaid. Its impossible to get overtime approved when its desperately needed. Attorneys carry staff salaries so they are frugal; hence deny overtime.
