Pros

No one understands anything well enough to notice BS I'm sure it's a great place to work if you are an engineer in Israel and just need a place to work while you have kids

Cons

Where to start? C-levels are bored with having an adnetwork and can't raise money so they use money from the network to fund other offshoots that are clear to anyone that has read TechCrunch, even one time, will fail. They grab on to any idea that was popular two years ago and other companies started working on five years ago and spend six months chasing it and spending money on it then it fails and they kick it to the side (VR, digital content, communication bubbles, messaging, data democratization, data solutions, programatic -- soon will come crypto and data sales I'm sure)

Pros

1. Scale! huge amount of bid requests running though start's system every day. 2. Ownership and autonomy — you're trusted to run with your tasks and make architectural decisions. 3. Friendly and collaborative team culture, people are approachable and helpful. 4. A lot of learning opportunities, especially in ad tech and data. 5.Hybrid model — 2 days a week from the office, the rest remote. 6. Flexible working hours — people can adjust their schedules based on personal preferences.

Cons

1. Some tech debt from legacy systems and scripts that are still being migrated. 2. Workload can be intense from time to time.

Pros

People - friendly, supportive, very good working atmosphere. Management - pretty effective regarding employees and their needs, no micromanagement, friendly and understanding, flexible when needed. Domain - complicated business domain (advertising) with many interesting cases but doesn't allow a technological variety. Technology - very old tech stack but there is the goal to improve and an opportunity to upgrade, improve and change the stack.

Cons

Salary - below average for the hi tech industry. A small amount of perks in comparison to the industry standard. Technology - no balance between the technical debts and business goals. The company is very concentrated on the business without allocation of enough capacity for the technology improvement and thus the result is very old tech stack, sometimes doesn't allow to get right tech decisions. No CTO/architect's involvement into the process. Future - unclear due to wrong management decisions in the past and overall industry "collapse" last year. The company tries to do a pivot. WLB - not really exists, not enough people for too many business tasks. The company is still working like a startup with a mess in product department that doesn't have an industry knowledge and it's business understanding. Very unstable infrastructure takes time to check and fix - results of the wrong decisions in the past as well. Location - most of time there is a traffic jam in all directions.
