Horrible place for a career

Pros

Good stepping stone for entry level. Some of the employees are very talented. The office is dog-friendly if that's your thing.

Cons

Company is very poorly managed. CEO Mindy Jeffries overpromises and underdelivers to clients and employees constantly, and the company has a very high client turnover because of it. Employees are poorly treated and pay for mid-senior level people is 40-50% lower than the industry standard - new people get tricked into taking low salaries because of promises of a bogus bonus program. Another disturbing thing is the number of Jeffries family members that are employed (or "employed") there. The young and desperate employees have fear of doing or saying anything that might rock the boat, so nothing ever changes. If you decide to work at Stealth, be prepared to be a "yes" person, not challenge anything (especially client requests!) and only plan on being there a year or two. If you don't leave, you'll get burnout quickly. And the high client turnover means no job security. If a big client leaves, people get laid off. Well, not the family members and friends of the family and family church members, of course.

It's all about the boss , the money and not the client - ever

Pros

If you're observant, you will learn how clients should not be treated. You will learn how to over-bill and how to explain why nothing is ever done on time.

Cons

Too many family members employed so no one can be honest or critical. Located in a dangerous part of the city.

Pros

Talented, smart peers who do great work for clients. Nice office in downtown location.

Cons

The owner is a loose cannon who yells at employees and makes insensitive racial and religious comments. Management gets in the way of the work that needs to be done and contributes to the unorganized environment. If you are not a family member, family friend or church friend, your head is the first on the chopping block during lean times. Pay is well below industry standard.
