Some of the management team need to be removed. Certain ones are unwilling to listen to the team. They create a hostile and unwelcoming work environment. Pay could be better. The plants are better taken care of the corporate employees in regards to compensation

Shift work can get repetitive. We switch days to nights every week. Some equipment is getting old and breaks down. Seems like it takes forever to get new equipment in.

Long hours and swing shifts.

Very old school in attitude towards work culture.

The management team promotes who they want in any position regardless of if another employee is better suited for the job. The cliques have got way out of control. Current manager in our area is well below an average individual for being put into a position where he has no clue how to do any of the jobs as well as no interpersonal skills.

Lots of hard work and poor vacation policy for salaried employees

Culture has lost its "family" dynamics to Corporate America.

Hot in the summer, cold in the winter, equipment barely works, heavy lifting

Even if you exceed expectations and outperform your peers, you still only get paid based on the amount of work you do, not how well you do it or if you take initiative to do more than your "title" suggests.
