Pros
Easy going work environment, not much will ever be expected of you outside of your job description.
Cons
Many mid level managers are racist and creep on young women on campus. Lots of ridiculous work policies that make it hard to be productive, no room for advancement if you aren't hired to an executive position, upper management often breaks their own rules and spend lots of budget money on themselves. Example: director of our department thought it was necessary to have an office chair that cost the University more than $500. Also have witnessed my head manager have my boss build stuff for his personal house using University materials. Tldr: corrupt management all around.
