no idea is a good idea if the partners ultimately do not take ownership of it; insufficient management processes in place; advancement opportunities are virtually non-existent; 1% of the firm accrues 99% of the profits made on the transactions, everyone else boxes out for the crumbs -- there is a pretend collegial environment but it's really cut throat
