Weird company that splits off rehab to a different arm of the company with a different name but same owner (as building). Concerning obsession with groups among inappropriate populations. Regional was hostile and perseverative if productivity goals not met. They believe in maximizing length of stay with medicare A and often strong arming inappropriateprimary disgnoses on rehab. Make sure you have the right building to meet the financial goals of yoyr regional before making any strides to accept an offer here.

Cons

Stern consulting is a company that uses smoke and mirrors to convince you they care about patient care. For SLPs specifically, they hire only CFs for severely under the average wage and leave them in poorly managed buildings with no support staff. The clinicians that are “supervising” these SLPs and conducting instrumentals have no training in doing so which results in poor management of patients cases and long waits for needed assessments.
