Pros

Great benefits, great customers, great partners

Cons

Poor management, poor communication from management to team, sometimes it is a “dog eat dog” kind of life with hours because of writeoffs but you “have to make” minimum menu items whether they sell or not and if write offs are high the hours are down and they cut people’s hours. Some shops have no room for growth at all. And won’t give you a raise.

Pros

A lot of good benefits, profit sharing, stock opportunities, company picnics.

Cons

Always have to be moving and doing something consistently, lots of moving around in different conditions (freezer stocking, making coffee, scooping ice cream, running a cash register, handling lotto, selling alcohol and tobacco, monitoring gas pumps, doing inventory... Etc
