Pros

You get to meet really good people in the industry. The industry is a very welcoming, family environment.

Cons

There appears to be a significant gap in leadership, strategic vision, and operational accountability. The company’s executive focus seems heavily weighted toward scaling and expansion, while the needs of the existing client base and the stability of the core product have not been prioritized with the same urgency. Ongoing product bugs and unresolved issues continue to erode client confidence and create opportunities for competitors to gain market share. At the same time, the company has pursued initiatives such as a rebrand and rate increases, despite only limited visible progress in addressing long-standing product concerns. Internally, leadership has lacked consistency and direction. Over the years, there has been frequent turnover among directors, many of whom have struggled to fully understand the role, the team’s responsibilities, or the outcomes they are expected to drive. Current leadership often appears more focused on self-preservation than on providing clear guidance, support, and strategic direction to their teams. Accountability also seems misaligned, with concerns that some leadership appointments are influenced more by personal relationships than by qualifications, experience, or fit for the role. As a result, employees and clients alike are left without the confidence, clarity, and stability needed for long-term success.

Used to be a good place to work

Pros

- Work from home - Pay and benefits were good

Cons

- Too many middle managers which drowns days in meetings and overhead getting the simplest of things done. - Decisions and processes have moved to being overly cautious which slows everything down without really improving the quality. - Several years ago out-sourced most of the company to India teams which introduced many unnecessary challenges and negatively affected culture. - Went from caring about customers and employees and the product to chasing money and it shows in the turnover and quality.

Pros

Great benefits, fully remote, attempt to create a solid culture

Cons

Product team is way behind industry standard, Management doesn't value talent (micromanages, gets in your way more than supports), I've seen many people fired for no cause - be careful!
