I worked at Straive, and I can confidently say that this was one of the worst professional environments I’ve ever encountered. The level of micromanagement is suffocating, and partiality in assigning tasks is rampant. Leadership shows no regard for employees’ time, often forcing people to work till 1 A.M., just to meet their unrealistic daily targets.
Despite the expectations being sky-high, management provides neither proper tools nor adequate infrastructure to meet them. There aren’t enough systems, and people are made to wait or work in sub-optimal conditions while being berated for not achieving 100% output. Assistant Manager is known for repeating that "100% is the minimum," regardless of circumstances. Team leads of biomedical department are rude, unprofessional, and lack even basic leadership qualities. Worse, they have crossed boundaries by asking personal questions to female employees—which is both unethical and unacceptable.
There is no proper career progression, no salary hikes, and promotions are a myth. Many freshers and even experienced employees leave the company before completing 2 years due to burnout, pressure, and toxic behavior from leadership. Even Assistant Managers resign, unable to tolerate the upper management’s dysfunctional practices.
Key red flags: micromanagement & partiality, Burnout Culture, Stagnation & Pay, Resource Limitations, Toxic TL Behavior, High Attrition
Straive is not a workplace; it’s a grindhouse that drains talent and energy. The leadership culture is driven by fear, unrealistic expectations, favoritism, and utter disregard for employee well-being. You’re expected to deliver like a robot—with no appreciation, no growth, and no support. Unless you want to burn out and feel like a cog in a broken machine, I strongly recommend avoiding this company.
