Pros

Strong tight-knit culture where you can reach out to anyone for assistance Top tier clients in the industries they specialise in Partners transparent and open to feedback Fast promotions recently to retain talent Salary as good as it gets for boutique Wide exposure and range of great development/learning/training opportunities (strong focus on using the same approach as MBB firms) Fast growing

Cons

Being a boutique firm, there are challenges that are intrinsic and almost impossible to change for a firm this size unless they grow significantly: - Don’t expect a salary with the tier 1 global consultancies - Expect volatile work life balance if you are assigned to multiple projects at once (volatility in other consultancies as well however) - Small firm so can’t specialise in too many industries at once.. expect to do a LOT of education, research and government work (although they are actively working to grow/develop their consumer/FS services for example with some top tier clients in these spaces)

Pros

None - stay away. a joke of a company

Cons

Senior leadership is a joke. Insane expectations from juniors in terms of output, hours and zero work-life balance. They promote working late to ensure output can be met on underscoped and under resourced projects. Leadership have no real experience delivering the projects they are allocated, with a lot of scope and mirrors behind the scenes. Don't expect to come in and learn anything or have a good work culture

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear that your experience at SPP wasn’t positive. We work hard to create an environment where our team can communicate openly about workload challenges, and we actively address concerns around project scoping and resourcing. While each person’s experience can vary, we are committed to continuous improvement and creating a balanced work environment. If you'd like to discuss your experience further or share suggestions for how we can improve, please feel free to reach out to one of our leadership team members.

Pros

Hiding in the toilets as the culture and work is terrible

Cons

Worst firm in the world. Partners and staff are psychopaths with no real experience in anything. Ben and Phil are a joke

Quite a bit to unpack here so it may be worth a conversation with one of the leadership team if you're comfortable to do so. In the meantime, we're disappointed that this is your experience, but happy you're enjoying the facilities.
