Pros

Great health benefits, matching 401K. Good creative team full of talent and great folks.

Cons

Super super low salary, awful clients that don't know how to work with a creative agency, weird and controlling CEOs that have specific enforced working hours. The company likes to come off as liberal and a force for good change, but has oil companies and fisheries as clients.

Mid-tier resume building company

Pros

- Good resume builder - Rub shoulders with some high profile people/clients - Some extra benefits if you’re a type A personality and get close to the right people

Cons

- Overall compensation is low - HR is a single person. Good luck getting any questions answered in a timely manner - Onboarding is really inefficient - CEO is single handedly refusing to compromise on work-from-home policies post-pandemic and limiting candidate pools more than they already are - Critically understaffed in some teams - Turn over/burn out rate is very high - CEO micromanages even C-level executives instead of letting them run their teams how they see fit - Certain departments get treated much better than others - Lack of communication across the firm creates a disconnect between the wants and needs of employees and company

Rampant discrimination and toxic culture

Pros

The employees are on the whole very nice and talented people.

Cons

The company is run by one self-obsessed man who insists on making every decision, and solely based on his own biases and self-interest. Cishet white men get rewarded handsomely. Pretty women willing to deal with being hit on do well too. Everyone else has to work twice as hard for half the recognition or compensation. Women and people of color are constantly asked to perform menial tasks. There is no career progression track or compensation model. DEI is just lip service. Some really reprehensible client projects. No transparency about finances. Zero vision for the company. The company just underwent drastic layoffs, and doesn’t appear to be doing well. Steer clear.
