Pros
Many people who work here love working with the residents and will help out other staff. There is a core of highly dedicated staff. Staff stay because they love the people they work with and hope to see things get better.
Cons
The senior management team is terrible. Many employees ask repeatedly what the function of two of the four managers is and no one has an answer. Staffing to less than bare bone minimum and seldom help out. Agency is heavily used and they call the shots - the rest of the nursing staff gets what's left over. The managers act like they expect gold stars for helping to pass ice water or meal trays on the rare occasion they do it. The Board of Directors is completely oblivious to what is going on in the building.
