The project manager would initially plan a release, and when everything seemed on track, they'd suddenly add more features and changes to the release list at the last minute, ensuring that everyone had to work overnight to accommodate them. Additionally, minor bugs were flagged as hotfixes, putting undue pressure on employees. The management was fully aware of these tactics. They lacked gratitude and openly displayed disappointment throughout the day and week. During salary increment discussions, they'd claim they had to give increments to everyone, leaving no room for your deserved raise. Whoever you are, I believe you deserve better than this company. If you have other options, I urge you not to join. Take a few days to explore other opportunities; you'll surely find a better workplace. However, if you're feeling cornered and have limited choices, then brace for impact and join. But deep down, you know you deserve better, so explore other opportunities before making a decision.
